Meadow Croft After Hours Presents
Heirlooms & Hidden Treasures:
A Show-and-Tell Valuation
Antique Appraisals with Mark Lagnese, Estate & Property Manager & guests
Saturday, Sept 12
6-8pm
In the Carriage House at Meadow Croft
Join Mark Lagnese, estate and property manager and owner of X Marks The Spot Home Services Inc., for an entertaining and informative evening exploring antiques, collectibles, and the hidden treasures that may already be sitting in your home.
Through his work helping families manage estates and prepare properties for sale, Mark regularly encounters fascinating artwork, antiques, jewelry, and family heirlooms. During this interactive presentation, he will share practical tips for recognizing valuable items and knowing what to look for when shopping at estate sales, tag sales, and garage sales.
Topics will include how to quickly research and evaluate an item, identify signs of quality and authenticity, and determine whether you are getting a good buy. The discussion will cover gold, silver, fine art, Tiffany glass, antiques, and other interesting collectibles.
Mark will also be joined by one or two surprise guests with specialized expertise in fine art, Tiffany glass, and collectible treasures.
Bring your own treasure! Guests are invited to bring one item for an informal Antiques Roadshow–style show-and-tell and discussion of its history, characteristics, and potential value.
If you plan to bring an item, please email a photograph and any available information to Shannon Voyack at Voyackshm@gmail.com as soon as possible. Advance submissions will allow Mark and his guest specialists to research selected pieces and provide more meaningful insights during the event.
Whether you are an experienced collector, an enthusiastic bargain hunter, or simply curious about a family keepsake, this promises to be a fun and engaging evening filled with discoveries, conversation, and a few surprises.
